VARC Celebrates 10 Years of Service to UCF and Central Florida Community Posted Sunday, November 1, 2020 @ 12:54 AM The Veterans Academic Resource Center will kick off Veterans Month with the annual Flag Week. Approximately 1400 U.S. flags will be planted on Memory Mall, the section just in front of the Veterans Memorial on Monday, November 9, 2020. Flags will be on display until Friday, November 13, 2020. Each flag planted represents a student veteran attending the University of Central Florida for the Fall 2020 semester. In addition to Veterans Flag Week on Memory Mall, the Veterans History Project will host the annual Flag Raising Ceremony on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This program will include UCF Air Force ROTC, UCF Army ROTC, the Veterans Academic Resource Center, and the UCF Community Veterans History Project. This virtual program is a continuing tradition of honoring our veterans who serve and have served our country.
